K-Gacha ("the bot", "we", "us") is a Discord bot for collecting K-pop idol cards. This policy explains what data we collect, why we collect it, and how it is stored.

By using K-Gacha in any Discord server, you agree to this policy.

1. What We Collect

We only collect data that is necessary for the bot to function:

  • Discord user ID — used to associate your card collection, munnies, wishlist, and settings with your account
  • Discord server (guild) ID — used to keep collections and claims separate per server
  • Card collection data — which cards you own, your wishlist, favorites, showcase, and crafting history
  • Economy data — your munnies balance, shop upgrades, roll/claim counts, and daily streak
  • Pity counters — roll counts used to track guaranteed rarity thresholds
  • Trade history — a count of trades completed (no card details stored)

2. What We Do NOT Collect

  • Message content or chat history
  • Usernames, display names, or profile pictures
  • Email addresses or any personal identifying information
  • IP addresses or device information
  • Data from servers the bot is not active in

3. How Data Is Stored

All data is stored in a single JSON file on a private server hosted on DigitalOcean. Data is not shared with any third parties. Only the bot owner has access to the raw data file.

Data is retained for as long as the bot is active in your server. There is no automatic expiry.

4. Data Deletion

You can request deletion of your data at any time by contacting the bot owner via the support server. Server admins can also wipe all data for their server using the /gachareset command.

K-Gacha does not knowingly collect data from users under the age of 13. Discord requires all users to be at least 13 years old. If you believe a user under 13 has interacted with the bot, please contact us.

7. Changes to This Policy

We may update this policy as the bot adds new features. The "last updated" date at the top of this page will reflect any changes. Continued use of the bot after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
